                                                 Filters & Combiners

DASTO produces a complete line of band-pass filters. The specific purpose of this filters is cutting of all the frequencies except the one tuned on the filter with the lowest insertion loss. A proper combination  of these band-pass filters results in a combining filters. DASTO produces Star point combining filters which are used to connect two or more transmitters, working at different frequencies to a single antenna systems.

DASTO Filters can be divided in four subgroups:

FM band-pass filters (up to 10kW)

UHF band-pass filters (up to 1 kW)

FM Star point combining filters

UHF Star point combining filters

FM double cavity band-pass filter (87.5-108 MHz)

UHF band-pass filter (470-860 MHz)

FM double cavity band-pass filter (87.5-108 MHz)

General: This filter is used in order to avoid problems that are generated when there are two or more FM Transmitters installed in the same place and to prevent intermodulation products. Each one is tuned at the operating frequency of the input transmitter. The parallel connection contains a well determined length to provide an adequate isolation between the transmitters.

Filtering: The specific purpose of band pass filters is cutting of all the frequencies except the one tuned on the filter with the lowest insertion loss.

UHF band-pass filter (470-860 MHz)

General: The band-pass filter consist of magnetic coupled coaxial resonators with adjustable coupling. One end of each resonator is open-circuited while the other is short-circuited and tuning is accomplished by rotating the round center at the lowest end of each resonator.

Filtering: Filters are used for star point combining filters composed of a number of band-pass filters and a junction point with defined lengths in order to provide adequate isolation between transmitters.
